Using Conan Exiles server hosting is a crucial part of managing a server is administration. An administrator can perform many important functions such as blocking, kicking, and unblocking players (player management), changing maps, restarting the server, and making game process adjustments (game management). For a large server, it is especially important to have at least one admin.

How to Add an Administrator to the Server

1) First, go to the server's game panel, open the File Manager section, and navigate to: ConanSandbox/Config/. In this folder, open the file DefaultServerSettings.ini.

2) Next, find the line AdminPassword= in this file, come up with and enter your password for access to the administrative panel. Do not forget to save the changes in the file.

IMPORTANT

Do not share this password with anyone unless you want to make that player an administrator

3) Now open the game, enter the server, and press the ESC key. In the menu, select the Settings section.

4) In the Settings section, click on the Server Settings sub-section, then in this section, click the Make Me Admin button.

5) In the new window, enter the password for access that you wrote in the game panel in the AdminPassword= line, then click OK. Done.
