How to save your Space Engineers world

Saving the game world

Using Space Engineers server hosting, it's crucial to know how to save your game world (map) so you never lose your progress. If something goes wrong, you can always load the world and restore any damaged files. In this article, we'll show you where the save files are located and how to protect them.

How to save the world

First, navigate to the folder containing the world files, at the path C:Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming/SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves.

Next, select the folder with the name of the world you want to save and copy the folder containing the files of that world to a separate location of your choice. Done.

Saving the world via the GODLIKE game panel

You can save the game server files through our game panel, under the Backups section. Go to the game panel from the main GODLIKE page, then in the Backups section, click the blue Create Backups button.
