Modpack Overview

Waffle's ModpackIncludes the Empire Minecraft Utilities mod!Don't want to update your Quilt mods? Let me handle it! This modpack downloads the latest versions of a set of predefined mods, mainly for the Empire Minecraft server. It's a simpler way to get all the mods in one download instead of 60+ separate ones. The modpack focuses on a wide range of client-side mods, including top performance mods. It also offers optional tools and aesthetic changes, like Critical Orientation or WorldEdit, which you can choose to install during setup.Feel free to add or remove any (compatible, approved) mods!Read the Conditionally Approved mods page before using some included mods.Check the latest Modrinth release for the mods list! After installation, I suggest lowering your GUI scale - I use 3 - and adjusting your key binds. Expect many initial conflicts!InstallationFollow Modrinth modpack installation instructions for manual updates, or use the steps below for automatic updates.Auto Update via MultiMC, Prism Launcher, ATLauncher (preferred)Create a new instance.Select "Import from zip" and paste the following into the "Local file or link to a direct download" box:https://modpack.pages.dev/MultiMC.zipClick "Launch" to run the pack. A dialog will prompt you to select optional mods. Choose and play! After installing, lower your GUI scale (I use 2) and adjust your key binds. Expect many initial conflicts!Disabling Required ModsRefer to this guide by Fabulously Optimized: Can I ignore some of the mods?.Manual Update via Default LauncherWindowsDownload the Packwiz Installer Bootstrap and place it in your Minecraft folder, not in the mods folder. If unsure, open Run with Win + R, and type %appdata%\.minecraft.Open Command Prompt with Win + R and cmd. Run these commands:cd %appdata%\.minecraftjava -jar packwiz-installer-bootstrap.jar https://modpack.pages.dev/pack.tomlIf you see a "not found" message, install Java. After installing, lower your GUI scale (I use 2) and adjust your key binds. Expect many initial conflicts! To update mods, rerun the java -jar command!Unix (Linux, Mac)Download the Packwiz Installer Bootstrap and place it in your Minecraft folder, not in the mods folder. On Linux, it's likely at ~/.minecraft/; on Mac, ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/.Open a terminal in your Minecraft folder.Run: java -jar packwiz-installer-bootstrap.jar https://modpack.pages.dev/pack.tomlAfter installing, lower your GUI scale (I use 2) and adjust your key binds.
