It receives the most support for speedrunning-specific mods, resources, and guides. Currently, 1.16.1 is the only version with the SeedQueue mod, allowing single-instance generation of multiple worlds for faster resets.Other versions like 1.15.2 are also popular, being the last version before The Nether Update, which significantly altered speedrunning. The speedrun route for 1.15.2 and earlier differs from newer versions.If you prefer speedrunning the latest versions, be aware of differences: piglin brutes in bastions, lower ender pearl drop rates from piglins, challenging new world generation, altered F3 pie chart, and more.My settings keep reverting to defaults!This is due to the StandardSettings mod, which resets your settings to a default preset each time a new world loads.To fix this, disable the mod or configure it to revert to your chosen settings.Steps (MC 1.16.1)In the options menu, click the Mod Configs button (book icon)Open the StandardSettings configTo disable StandardSettings, set 'Use StandardSettings' to 'OFF'. Otherwise, adjust the settings in this menu to your preferences. Use 'CTRL+F' to search for a setting.For MC versions other than 1.16.1Versions other than 1.16.1 use an older StandardSettings mod version without an in-game GUI.
