How to disable the BattleEye system on your Arma 3 server

What is BattleEye?

Using Arma 3 server hosting with BattleEye is an anti-cheat system that operates within the game and affects the management of the gameplay by blocking players' attempts to use third-party programs, cheats, and certain modifications. Using prohibited programs on servers with anti-cheat can result in a ban. It can be disabled if desired, for example, to have fun with friends or to test modifications, programs, etc.

How to disable BattleEye on your server

1) Log in to your server's game panel and make sure it's turned off in the Console section.

2) Open the File Manager section, find the file server.cfg, and double-click on it to open.

3) Find the line BattleEye = 1 in the file and replace 1 with 0. Save the file and you can start the game.

IMPORTANT

Be cautious when disabling the anti-cheat, as unwanted players may disrupt your gameplay with third-party programs. You can always enable the anti-cheat again by replacing 0 with 1 in the line of the file
