The Arclight Zombies Remastered modpack requires Minecraft version 1.16.5.
Currently Archived(Awaiting critical mod updates; see description for details)Arclight Zombies is a custom modpack my friends and I developed to recreate the intense, wave-based survival experience inspired by Call of Duty Zombies mode in Minecraft. Initially, progress was smooth, but it slowed after losing contact with a friend who was helping with the map's building. He's in Russia, and after Discord was banned there, I've had no way to reach him—thanks, geopolitics.Losing his help affected my motivation, and I lost interest for a while. But now, I'm inspired again and want to continue. The modpack is still under construction and far from finished, but the vision is alive, and I’d love help with building, custom development, and decorating the map. Why?I honestly don't know why people keep downloading this unfinished modpack. It's just the framework for my incomplete server, yet it has reached 632 downloads! That's crazy, and I can't thank you enough for the support. You're either curious, bored, or just awesome—and I appreciate you.Get Involved! If you’re a:Builder: Help with building and decorating the map.Redstone Expert: Assist in designing mechanics or gameplay elements.Developer: Help create custom mods or plugins, troubleshoot technical issues, or add custom features. Contributions would need to be free, but any help would mean the world to me.Tester: Playtest the modpack, find bugs, and provide feedback.Idea Person: Share creative ideas for features, aesthetics, or map designs.Or Anyone Else: Maybe you’re an artist who wants to design a logo or create in-game art. Anyone is welcome to contribute!Contact me on Discord at redking_11 if you’d like to help! Any help, feedback, or collaboration is appreciated more than you know. For now, Arclight Zombies is a passion project slowly coming together, and I’m excited to see where it goes. Maybe together, we’ll create something incredible—or at least something fun to play when you’re bored.Current Progress:Spoilers yay[==----------------------------] 2%The project is archived because I currently lack motivation. I'm sorry, but sometimes you just don't feel like doing it, largely because I'm doing this alone. Some friends and kind strangers helped early on, but most didn’t stick around. Thank you for your support, and I might continue this later this year (2025).Known Issues:Click to expandMemory Allocation: The modpack may lag or crash if there is not enough memory, like any larger modpack.Follow the tutorial below to fix this.Tips for Better Performance:Follow these steps to make your game run smoother and avoid crashes:Go to Options in the Modrinth instance.Enable Override Memory Settings.Set the memory to 4GB (6GB is preferred for optimal performance).Note: Increasing memory allocation helps the game run properly. If unsure, 4GB is a safe starting point.Honestly, I don’t know why Modrinth sets it to 2GB by default—even though modded Minecraft needs at least 4GB to run properly.Reminder: Arclight Zombies is still under construction and not ready! But hey, that’s part of the charm, right?Special Thanks: Massive thanks to the legends who helped build this: BTL_Toast and zercalo—couldn’t have gotten this far without you. (And yes... technically there was a third, but we don’t talk about him)
