What are the features of online play in Minecrat

Minecraft servers require much more attention and skills from the player. For example, in single-player, you can build a house, put the mined diamonds in a chest, and go for a walk to explore the world. In multiplayer, which is focused on battles, you can't do that: other players are awake, they can track you down, set traps, or even attack you suddenly. You have to store all your goods in the chest of the Land or hide them well from prying eyes. Of course, not all projects are focused on PvP. There are many peaceful communities where players build together, share resources, and help each other create public buildings, such as monuments, fountains, and squares. But still, most projects are focused on battles, which is much more interesting, challenging, and fun than the usual endless construction.

TIP

Of course, it will be much easier and more fun to play on a server with friends

Currently, there are four types of multiplayer modes: Creativity, Survival, Hardcore, Adventure, and Observer. Playing in these multiplayer modes is almost identical to playing in the respective game modes, except that you play with other players.

How to create a server to play with friends

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Java.

Since Minecraft is a Java-based game, the first step is to make sure you have the latest version of Java. If not, download Java from the official link.

2. Download the Minecraft_Server.jar file.

Next, you will need the server files. You can get them for free from the official Minecraft website. When you have finished downloading the file. Create a folder for your server, for example, "Minecraft Server", transfer the file there and run it to install.

NOTE

You will see that new files will appear in the folder along with it

3. Setting up the file to start the server.

Create a file in .txt format (a document or notepad++) in the server folder. Name this document Run and write the following command in it:

cmd /k java -Xms1G -Xmx1G -jar minecraft_server.1.11.jar

After you have written the command, save this document. And change its format to .bat (you do this in the same way as when naming a file).

4. In the folder with the server, you will see a new file eula.txt - open this file and find the line eula=false, then rewrite false to true.

5. Start the server using the configured Run.bat file.

TIP

As long as the Run.bat window is running, your server is running. Also, in this file you can view the server logs (information)

6. Open Minecraft and connect to your server, when you see the line with the server address, enter localhost.

Setting up ports and IP address

For other players to join your server, you need to open your ports and configure them. Also, find out your IP address. You need to pass all this information to your friends so that they can join your game. To find out your IP address, go to the appropriate sites to get information about your device, or look it up yourself using the network settings.

Congratulations! Now you know how to create your own Minecraft server for a fun and interesting game with your friends. Play together with GODLIKE.
