How to Upload a Map to a V Rising Server

When you launch the game for the first time, it generates or loads a specific map based on the settings you chose before starting the game (difficulty, world type, etc.). However, there may come a time when you already have progress on an existing map and wish to continue playing on it, either by using it on your server or by installing a custom (modified) map from the internet. In this article, we will explain how to download the required map for a V Rising server.

How to Download a Map to the Server

1) First, choose the map you want to play on. If it's a map from the internet, download its files to your device. If you want to download a map from the game, navigate to AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\CloudSaves\Your ID\v2 (or any number). Save the folder with the world files.

2) Now, go to the game panel and turn off the server in the Console section.

3) Then, open the File Manager section in the panel and navigate to save-data/Saves/v# (any number of your world).

4) You will see a folder named world or world1 (or another number). Copy the name of this folder and rename the folder of the map you want to download to the copied name. After that, delete the current folder in the game panel and upload the required one using the blue Upload button.
