In Stardew Valley, farming isn't the only way to earn money. Players can take on various missions that grant valuable rewards, including gold. One such task is given by the Wizard, who requests a rare substance called Prismatic Jelly. Below, you'll learn where to find this elusive item and what it's used for.
To obtain Prismatic Jelly, you must defeat a Prismatic Slime, a rare enemy that appears only after accepting the Wizard’s Special Order quest.
These creatures can be found in The Mines, Quarry Mine, and Skull Cavern, though their appearance is not guaranteed. You may need to enter and exit these locations multiple times before encountering one.
NOTE
Your chances of finding a Prismatic Slime increase on Lucky Days, so check your daily fortune before heading out
What makes Prismatic Slimes unique is their ever-changing colors, making them easy to distinguish from other slimes. However, they are more powerful than regular slimes, with increased health and attack power, so come prepared for a challenging battle.
How to Use Prismatic Jelly
As of Version 1.6, Prismatic Jelly serves a single purpose: completing the Wizard’s quest. Once delivered, you will receive 5,000 gold and unlock the recipe for Monster Musk.
IMPORTANT
The only character in Stardew Valley who appreciates Monster Musk as a gift is Krobus
Monster Musk Recipe:
