In this article, we will tell you how to download a map from the Steam Workshop to your Terraria server.

How to download map files from the workshop

1) Subscribe to the map you want to add in the Steam Workshop.

2) Open the game. Click on the Workshop in the menu.

3) Click the Import Worlds button, in the new window you will see the name of the map you added through the workshop. Click on the small triangle to download its files.

4) Enter the name of the world and click Submit. Wait for the download to complete and you can close the game.

5) Go to the path C:\Users...\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Worlds. You will see the files of your world.

How to upload a map to your server

1) Go to the server's game panel. Open the File Manager section.

2) Go to the saves/Worlds folder and click the blue Upload button, then select the map files you downloaded from the workshop.

3) Now open the Startup Settings section in the panel. In the World Name line, enter the name of the map (you specified it when downloading the files).
