A kitchen-sink pack: lots of tech + magic mods with freedom to play your own way (not as gated as expert packs).
Enigmatica 2 – E2 shines on multiplayer servers because it supports both focused progression and side projects without feeling scattered. Players can follow quests for direction, then branch into whatever systems they enjoy most. Since it’s a larger “do a lot” pack, hosting helps keep performance steady when multiple bases, machines, and dimensions are active at once. It also makes it easier to manage backups and configuration changes as your world grows. If your group likes guided modded progression without losing freedom, E2 is still a strong pick.

Start with 6GB. For 5-10 players or bigger bases/exploration, 8GB is safer.

Updates are fine with a backup first. Adding/removing mods isn’t recommended, modpacks are tuned and changes can cause instability.
