How to Restore Your Server From a Backup

Server restoration allows you to instantly revert your entire server to a previously saved, stable state using a backup image. This is the fastest way to recover your system in case of fatal software errors, misconfigurations, or sudden data loss.

    IMPORTANT

During the restoration process, all current server files and data will be completely overwritten and replaced with the files from your chosen backup. If you have any critical recent progress, secure it before proceeding.

    Step-by-Step Restoration Guide

    1. Log into your Godlike Panel, open the My Servers list, and select your server.

    2. Navigate to the Backups section from the left navigation menu.

    3. Locate the specific backup point you want to roll back to.

      • Note: The backup must have a green Completed status to be eligible for restoration.

    4. Click the three vertical dots on the far right side of the selected backup entry.

    5. Choose Restore from the dropdown menu.

    6. Confirm the action in the pop-up modal confirmation window.

    7. Wait a few moments for the restoration system to extract and deploy the files.

    8. Head back to the Console and click Start to boot up your server.

    Verifying the Recovery

Once the server is running, we highly recommend double-checking everything:

    • Monitor the live Console output during the boot cycle to catch any startup errors or missing dependencies.

    • Log into the game to verify that the required world data, player profiles, or plugin configurations have been successfully restored.
