How to Use the Web File Manager Controls

Managing your server files is easier than ever with our updated, high-performance File Manager panel. This guide will walk you through every available tool, helping you modify configurations, upload custom assets, and manage server directories safely.

1. Top Navigation Bar (Global Operations)

These actions apply globally across your active directory and do not require you to select any files beforehand:

• Upload File(s): Instantly upload single or multiple files directly from your computer into the current directory.

• New File / New Folder: Create empty text-based configurations or layout new subdirectories instantly.

• Upload Custom Modpack NEW: A dedicated, streamlined workflow to deploy zipped custom modpacks effortlessly.

• SFTP Connect Buttons: Use Download SFTP Client to acquire an external tool (like FileZilla), or click SFTP Connect to display your secure credentials for large-scale data transfers.

2. Bulk Action & Management Footer

When you select one or multiple checkboxes on the left side of the filenames, a dynamic bottom action bar emerges to execute batch processes:

• Download: Packs selected elements into a streamlined queue for batch local download.

• Move: Bulk shifts selected items. Enter ../ to go up one directory level, or type the precise subfolder path. Toggle file overwrite options if necessary.

• Duplicate: Safely mirrors your chosen assets within the same directory for quick backup purposes.

• Delete: Sends chosen objects straight to the Recycle Bin.

• Zip / Unzip ENHANCED: Compress selected assets instantly into clean archives, or extract ready-to-run .zip files server-side without external dependencies.

3. The Contextual Menu (Three-Dots Dropdown)

Clicking the three vertical dots ⋮ on the far right side of an individual file or folder reveals a point-and-click management submenu:

• Open: Launches our blazing-fast code editor to modify configuration scripts directly inside your browser.

• Download: Automatically transfers the specific asset straight to your local system storage.

• Pin: Anchors critical files or directories to the very top of your view for immediate, easy access.

• Copy Operations: * Copy Name — Grabs the raw filename only.

  • Copy Path — Copies the absolute server path reference.

  • Copy Link — Generates a secure, temporary external sharing link.

• Duplicate / Rename / Move: Tailored single-item controls to clone, rename, or reroute an individual asset.

• Archive: Packages this single container cleanly into an archive file.

• Delete: Moves the specific item straight into the Recycle Bin.

NOTE

Safe Deletion Note: Items sent to the Recycle Bin (located at the very top of your file directory list) are securely stored for up to 24 hours. You can easily access it to restore mistakenly deleted configurations or fully purge data to reclaim storage space.
